So you want to become a Liverpool student Skydiver?

Here's what you need to do......

1.      Contact the club president

The minimum number of students required for a RAPS course is twelve. So, once enough people have shown an interest, the committee will organise a course and invite you to an introductory meeting.

2.      Join the Athletic Union and the Skydiving Club at the University of Liverpool          Sports Centre.

If you want to be a member of any of the sports clubs at the University of Liverpool you need to be a member of the Athletic Union (AU). You can do this at the sports centre on the University of Liverpool Campus. Annual membership to the AU costs £25 for university staff and students, and £40 for non students. State that you’d like to join the skydivers as you sign up.
If you’re already a member of the AU with another club, the fee is £15.

3.      Come to the Introduction Meeting to sign up to the RAPS course

(Bring your AU membership card along with you.) We’ll have an informal chat with you about the upcoming training course. After answering any questions that you’ve got, we’ll sign you up to the RAPS course. We’d like £50 (of the £165 RAPS course fee) as a deposit as you sign up. Leaving the rest to pay the weekend of the course.
